KEY GRAMMATICAL CONSTRUCTIONS…PE – AS A LEAVING CERT SUBJECT
- La première fois – the first time (note that the adjective premier is in the feminine form as the word “fois” is feminine.
- Pouvoir + verb in the infinitive – Pouvoir is a modal verb and must be conjugated into the tense required, but the verb following it is always in the infinitive form.
